I know Fibromyalgia from a close familiy member, it’s such a beast with all the painful ups and downs. The combination with Covid for sure isn’t desirable!

Things are better and not better, I ended up going to the hospital (on the advice of my doctor) for some tests, things weren’t improving and I had got through the covid symptoms. Just over 10 years ago I had a tick bite and went to hospital for treatment, they had difficulty with getting antibiotics intravenously into me ending up in 3 attempts, plus I was given a prescription for antibiotics as normal procedure. I didn’t have a follow up checkup to make sure it had worked properly, this was the reason why my doctor sent me to have more tests. They found that I did have an Autoimmune problem but didn’t know what it was. So I have had samples sent to Switzerland and to Sweden for testing. Switzerland for Lymes antibodies and Sweden for the antibodies they had found in Fibromyalgia patients in their study they did a few years ago. At the moment we are still waiting for results but they are both asking for further samples, don’t know what to think about that!
At the moment I am coping OK but nowhere near where I was before the Covid. I’m just hoping it’s not positive from Switzerland, that would really be tough to swallow!
Anyway my food is ready so I’ll have to go now, thank you all so much for your thoughts and support :heart::heart::heart:
