I may not be on call 24/7 over the next couple of weeks

Apologies to all if I have been / will be a little bit MIA over the last few days / over the next few weeks.
Mrs C and I are busy packing our entire life into boxes pending a house move next week. It has taken more than two and a half years of tortuous housing market shenanigans to get here, and we’re not quite complete yet but almost, almost.
After the move however, will have no broadband for a week as the internet service providers need time to communicate switch-overs - unreal. I will have data on my smart phone for some things but will also be unpacking at the other end.

Best of luck with the move Richard, I know its been a long time coming. I am sure David and Lieven will look after things here while you are off air and the usual reprobates will promise not to try and break things, well not too badly.

See you when we see you !

Congrats on finding the new place, Richard. What an opportunity to sort out the accumulated stuff of many years. Good luck with the move and enjoy the time away from the computers.

Good luck with the move, Richard. It can be quite a pain, I recall from my last one not too long ago. Congrats on finally finding something that fits. This is the even bigger pain and now checked off.

With David and Lieven and some of the veterans around, we’ll be good for the time being. Take your time and all the best.

Wow! 2 and a 1/2 years, that is an epic Richard but I’m sure the new place will be worth it.

Good look with the move and I hope it all goes smoothly for you both.

I’ll keep on chanting your mantra to people in your absence.

Hello Richard :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks for your message.

Congratulations on finding your new home. I hope it is the perfect one.

Your new neighbours really are lucky people. I hope they will appreciate the great guitar tunes they are going to hear from now on :guitar:

Wishing you all the very best for your move

Good luck Richard! And don’t worry, I think there’s enough of the rest of us indoctrinated with Songs, songs, songs to stand in for you whilst you’re having “fun” moving…

Good luck with your move and make sure the full stack’s are off first  :love_you_gesture: :guitar:

Thanks for the Info, Richard. Happy for you that you could find a new place to live! I hope, moving goes well and you can enjoy the new house very soon! All the best and already looking forward to lots of inspiring posts, when you have settled and things flow again!

Good luck @Richard_close2u

@DavidP and I will be extra vigilant

I’d like to see a venn diagram of how The Usual Reprobates and the Hat Gang overlap!

@Richard_close2u good luck with the move. Our last move was certainly stressful but well worth it in the long run. Look forward to having you back here more regularly.

Wish you well with the move, Richard.

I’ll cover the ground I can here in the Community and people will have to wait for your return to ask all the difficult questions again.

I wish you a lot of peace and enjoyment there…

and I will quickly send some bribery stuff (2 guitars will do it right?? ) to Lieven and David before they become too hard on me :innocent:

Greetings :people_hugging: :people_hugging:

Good luck with the move Richard!

Hard work but fun

You know what they say…

While the cats away the mice will play!

Oh, that’s a huge chore! Good luck with it, hope your internet provider gets its act together faster. I’ve still got boxes to unpack since we moved into this, still unfinished house, in January 2021. I don’t even want to think about the headaches we had selling the old house.

I know I will do my best not to break the site while you are incommunicado.

Congratz Richard, wish you all the best as moving can be a challenge! And after the move please don’t start any refurb works, you definitely won’t have time for Community if you do!

All the best with the move Richard. I have lost count of the amount of times I’ve moved and it doesn’t get an easier.

Ah the old moving house fun and games! All the best with the move, Richard, and congrats on getting a new place! It’ll all be worth it once you’re there and settled. Take care my friend  :+1:
