hello, if anyone can help me identify my guitar, it has no labels on it, the only thing is writing on the inside that looks aftermarket it reads REC.#001001
I can take more pictures if needed
AI says it’s a Sigma SE-19.
I googled the serial number. It gave me an Australian truck dealership. lol
lol, for all I know that could be what that number is, if it is aftermarket my friends dad would have wrote it and sometimes he does some questionable things
that looks close, the hole is not the same though, and it has no electrics
Might not be an actual brand. Could be some luthier knocked it up in his shed.
I really think not, they have bought multiple guitars, one for their kid was a yamaha, the other ones they have had where not as far as I can recall but he has never mentioned making or one of his friends making a guitar, and he is the type of person who would talk about that all day long
also it looks like it had at some point in time a sticker on the headstock but is mostly gone (over 90%)
Yeah that’s kind of what I thought too.
could it be a custom design possibly?
That cutout looks pretty unique, and the finish is pretty amateur. Maybe it was refinished?
A couple of better pictures and maybe post on the “Acoustic Guitar Forum”.
he did have it for a while before he gave it to me, could be refinished
