Have always loved this song. It was the first song I chose to learn way back when I was learning to transition my G and C chords. I am grateful for this advanced beginners lesson. I love the variation on the C chord. I won’t lie, I can’t stand the strumming pattern. I know it gives the song its unique sound, but to play it throws the groove off that I am so used to having when I hear the song as a whole. This is one of the reasons I rarely learn to play songs that I really really love- learning the technicalities can ruin the magic! Great lesson though and I will probably practice this one despite what I just said.
