I think I'm immune to GAS

Fingers crossed soon Shane!

But, returning to the original post, the G in GAS can be interpreted as Gear and not just strictly Guitar.
So in that sense, I highly doubt anyone is 100% immune.

Isnā€™t it obvious Raymond? Guitars are much prettier than all those other instruments :star_struck: So many different shapes and finishes (bursts FTW!).

No such thing as GAS immunity, it will come and sneak up on you when youā€™re least expecting it! The immunity you have now is just a temporary thing, remember the number of guitars you need is and always will be n+1ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ā€¦ :joy:

Resistance is futile.
There is no cure :guitar::guitar::guitar:

I have only been playing for about 3-4 weeks so have one guitar (bought second hand). But it is a Gretsch and they are (in my opinion at least) the best looking guitars ever made (they donā€™t sound half bad either to my inexperienced ear :slight_smile:)

I might get another guitar a few years down the line but it will be just to get a different or particularly iconic soundā€¦ I donā€™t think I could ever buy a ā€œbetter lookingā€ guitar now though!

I do have 2 drum kits and cymbal sets, dozens of pairs of sticks and oddball percussion bits and bobs in my room so the whole GearAS thing does cross over (at least for me)!

Borrowing some lyrics:
We need it as a liquid in our veins instead of blood :metal:

They certainly have a style, and build a decent guitar!
