Marvellous, from the first note to the last. @oldhead49 Dave I hope you’ve recovered from your marathon. You impress me sir. NaNa so good to hear you singing again, @LBro LB it’s a pleasure to hear you singing with your daughter and of course it’s all packaged and presented with your usual excellence. You never disappoint LB.
Thanks to all who listened and commented. It was a fun song to play, and I know LBro had his hands full with putting the vox together but all’s well that ends well.
I think 219 BPM is an overstatement, though. I tapped it into Reaper at 110 and read online in a couple places that it’s 110 but can be counted at 219/220. I think the 219 comes in 'cos that’s what LBro had to use to get the drums programmed to fit the grid. I still don’t understand why that wouldn’t work at 110. I know we had many discussions about what it should be and what it is. In the end it doesn’t matter, it all came together.
Hi Maggie!
I am hopping between that first note and the last there were a few more good ones in there?
You are one of the old guard and still remember NaNa. I don’t think many on here know who she is… But at least they got a taste of her vocals this time around.
So good to hear from you. I hope all is well on your end and that your doing fine.
Take good care!
LB
I still don’t know about this one. If it truly were at 110, then would it not be pretty easy to play? Would it not just sound “normal” paced? Many have commented to me that the tempo of this song is fast.
On drums, if memory serves. When I tried 110bpm, it used only 2 beats. So to do that, something would have been different, instead of the 4/4 used…
I guess it will always be a question. Though I could toss it at Kasper for his take on it…
