Why does Justin say in the Learn More text ā€œWe’re learning it with the capo on the 5th fret, but you can choose to go bare. :)ā€ but then does the whole video with the capo on the 2nd fret? A bit confusing!

Also he makes reference in the video of a link to a live version of the song in the Learn More text which isn’t there. What is the live version he means?

The 5th fret capo ref must be a typo that should read 2nd fret.
As for the video link at the bottom the page, I’ve just tried it and get a ā€˜video removed for copyright reasons’ message.
Is it worth amending this Richard? @Richard_close2u

Thanks. I thought it might be, although the Easy Guitar Songbook has a version with the capo at the 4th fret.

I couldn’t see the link!

@Stuartw @sairfingers Thanks for the alert.
I have edited the text to capo 2nd fret and updated the Youtube link to one that works (for now).
Cheers
Richard

Hi everyone! I’ve been working through Justin’s ā€œI’m Yoursā€ lesson on YouTube (linked below), and I’m a bit stuck on the E chord he mentions. He refers to it as an A-shaped barre chord at the 7th fret(At 3:00 in the video). Could someone clarify the exact finger positioning for this?

Thanks in advance! :guitar:

The chord grip is x7999x

That’s a 5th string root barre chord at the 7th fret. The index finger is barring the 7th fret. If you don’t know how to play that chord, do a bit of research. Basically, you form a small bar with your 3rd finger to fret strings 2, 3 and 4. Alternately, you can fret those strings with your pinky, ring and middle finger.
