Improv over backing track!

Hey everyone!

It’s been about 6 months since I posted anything. I’ve been busy trying to continue on with my theory and practice routines. I’ve even been doing some recording projects with an old friend from high school that I haven’t seen for 20 years or so. Hopefully I will share some of that with you all soon too.

Anyway…this is just me deciding to record myself. I figure after a year and a half I should make an entry into the old guitar progress log book.

This backing track just came up on my Youtube autoplay so I decided to start the iphone and jam with it.

I’d love your feedback, last time there was some great suggestions and advice. This is a one take deal that I wasn’t originally planning on sharing but I figure the mistakes and bad notes just make it a little more real. I hope you enjoy it.

RJ, that was fantastic :star_struck:. So enjoyable. Can’t believe you’re only 1,5 ys in :astonished::+1::clap:.
And you have a beard now (doesn’t have anything to do with your playing, of course ).
Amazing progress!!
