"Independence Day" (original)

Since we celebrate 11.11 as our National Day of Independence, I wrote something to contribute to today’s holiday. I wish I had been able to compose it for a symphonic orchestra, but meanwhile three guitar tracks and a drum computer will have to suffice

Nice. Lots going on there but it all blends quite well.

A very pretty piece and your parts are very well synchromised - recording more than one guitar part would be almost symphonic for me. Happy Independence Day!

Thank you, Mark, glad you liked it  .

Very nice Tomasz. You might have Rod Stewart chasing you for royalties however as some of the melody was “I was only joking”.
Yes, happy Independence Day to you. Where are you from and who do you celebrate independence from?

Hi Gordon,
Thanks so much for your input. I’ll have to check on the Rod Stewart’s song, really… If there’s any similarity it’s either a pure coincidence, or perhaps some parts for the chord progression were at some point ‘planted in my brain’ (Paul Simon, this time  ) .
I posted a short explanation why we celebrate the 11th Nov. as our Independence Day in the “Veterans’ Day” topic started in the ‘Chatting’ section; I quote it below:
