Hi everyone, I’m Christine from Northern Ireland. I just started learning guitar 9 months ago and I find Justin teaching methods are fantastic. Excited to learn more

Hello Christine & welcome from the Southwestern US!
Are you playing acoustic or electric? What style/genre interests you the most? How did you find Justin’s method?
I think this Community is really a good place, lots of helpful & interesting threads to explore & if you ask questions, lots of helpful advice without any bashing going on! I wish you well in your musical journey, guitar is work at times but lots of fun!
Good luck!
Tod

Hello Christine and welcome to our community.
Hi Tod thanks for your encouragement and warm welcome. I’m playing an acoustic and I’m keen on learning finger style. I’m really trying to learn Landslide which I’ve surprised myself so far in what I’ve learned but I need to get some of the chords changes on time without losing the timing and rhythm. I just need to be patient and get plenty of practice. Justin’s lessons are a great help and he is great at explaining things.
Thank you Mike
Thank you Nicole for your encouragement and support

Hi Christine and welcome
Hello Christine and welcome to the forum. Fun to hear that you are working on Landslide. That is the one fingerpicking piece I’ve really focused on, and it is a pleasure to play. Even at 1/2 or 2/3 speed Wish you the best of times as you work through learning this one.
Thank you Royshea it sure is fun to play. I just need to keep at it to get the chords changes smoother going into the chorus. Then there’s the solo which I’m trying really hard to learn. I’m just not fast enough yet but I will get it eventually…might take me 6 months though
