Is There Anybody Out There? - Pink Floyd

Hi Community :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I did this a long time ago without a video, it was all way too difficult at the time and the only way to post that way.

Very happy with how things are going today :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:… less than 10 attempts and it was on the video… (9 times)… :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I shortened the intro (the two A’s :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:), my wife especially thinks it’s terrible if that happens 14 times…and I’m also done with it after a year long ago.

Lately I always think about a few forum friends when I play this (even some I don’t have contact with behind the scenes) who are having a really hard time right now …

Ps: I told you Andrea a long time ago that I would do this on the accoustasonic … but it has never had its new strings or even played a chord since.

Hope you like it

Greetings,Rogier

(and for the moderators, not choosing the challenge topic is a conscious choice on several reasons, I hope it is okay, but if desired I would like to post a link there in a few weeks)

Just edited a thumbnail for the first time…files were too big but after sending them back and forth with wattsapp it worked :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

it is a beautiful place where we went for a walk for the first time last week, have driven 100 times plus in my entire life, but now for the first time … ā€˜The Leersumse field’

I’m still looking for some pictures…

They are all pictures of you looking away dreaming or being lonely in a good way for me … But unfortunately often not if you are really lonely, but fortunately I never am when I am on the road …

That was awesome Rogier. So melodic I had the feeling I was floating in a canoe across the calm water in your photo.

Hi Rogier. Well I’m out there and I enjoyed that a lot. Really well played and your time has been well spent on this piece. It’s very atmospheric and your photos, particularly the one of the lake and solitary tree, fitted perfectly.
Well done.

And you’ve hit the bullseye for one of the Community challenges too.

Hi Paul @mathsjunky

Thank you very much :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: …thats great you getting that with Pink Floyd :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: I can’t imagine a childhood and life without them , even though my first album purchased almost 40 years ago was a strange, annoying spycho trip… :see_no_evil_monkey:

Hi @GrytPipe
Thank you very much for dropping by :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Hi Michael @mfeeney0110

Thank you for the nice comment and floating thoughts …Funny enough, that’s what I said to my wife as we walked along the trees into the water… it’s just a very low water area at this time of year, so I’d have to spend the whole time pushing my wife into the water to pull the boat along… :scream: :joy:

Hi Gordon @sairfingers
you are always out somewhere :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: . Thank you very much :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:and yes that tree was the first thumbpic I try but all kind of things went wrong, I could try to explain it but then it would be like babalony or ā€œthe lame lead the blindā€ as we say here :joy:

Thank you Richard @Richard_close2u nice to hear from you :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

And yes I knew that and asked for some kind of permission at the top to see if it could also be done there later with a link … and didn’t you feel that I played with you so often? I often used you to slow down my pace to better/longer play times .

Greetings and,
Thank you all for your sweet comments I like that very much :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

That was some really nice playing, Rogier. A very atmospheric piece which you captured well and some really pretty photos that an essence of isolation and tranquility. Though I expect there were a thousand eyes watching you in the distance from the trees.

That was a sweet treat after a long, exhausting day. Thank you so much, Rogier.

Your picking sounded lovely, the tone was quite mesmerizing and along with the chosen pics, it was so wholesome. Your big, caring heart shines through every note you played and line you wrote. :orange_heart:

Same here. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever heard this song. It’s beautiful, as is your cover, Rogier.
