Uh well ,luckily I was quick to click this yesterdayā¦ best positioned for the winter feeling if this remains so this year

2-3 hours later everything was gone again, and I can no longer remember a white christmas here. That is very rare here and becomes more special every yearā¦ but somedayā¦

Good morning, Rogier! Iām sooo late to the partyā¦ I only watched this yesterday, shortly before I had to leave the house. I had to spend some more minutes at home, because what you wrote and your beautiful playing instantly opened my heart and brought me to tears that needed to be dried before leaving.
So I took the time this morning to give it another listenā¦ more tears, but not out of sadness

Oh - that was mean! 
The album that I mean and which I loved was the one with āWish you were hereā.
Oh, the story is a bit long, sorry!
Imagine me in my twenties, looking all so slightly better studying and living with my parents.
My sister lived in Paris and sent us my nephew (the one who 25 years later (or so) offered me a guitar and made me learn it) quite a few times during the summer holidays and he found our attic magical. He was maybe 10? He loved my old toys of course and lots of books and and andā¦
So, our attic - after a few summers was looking terrible! 
You could barely march through it!
And me, one day, I bought me a new stereo, this time a decent one with good loudspeakers (still the ones we use in our living room nowadays).
So, during some holidays I was alone in the house for a week or two and took the decision to tidy up that attic and make it useable again!
To make it more fun, I brought my stereo upstairs for those few days and I listened to my prefered, but also some newly aquired albums. For example the āWish you were hereā CD which I knew from my childhood, borrowed as an LP from my sisterāsā¦ but this had been something like 15 years earlier, so I only remembered it roughly.
Haha, now Iām listening to it and they just sang: āYou bought a guitar to punish your maā
But backā¦
So I am starting to tidy up, listening to the CD with āShine on you crazy diamondā
I was lost in the things on the attic and in the music and suddenly just two meters away someone starts to laugh!
I was turning around and was terribly scared for a few seconds until I realized that laugh was on the recording. Argh!
That is at about 8:48 and maybe itās not as convincing on all the audio systems, but in that dry sounding attic with my new and great loudspeakers it was as real as a real person laughing.
Sorry for having the story so long!
But - Iām glad I can visit this place, enjoy your music and pictures and enjoy the nice neighborhood!

wellā¦I at least expected a separation of some body part after a horrific incident with the record player
That song (heard in many versions) has certainly "touched " my brain at more than one times during dark moments at night 
ā¦
