Issue with the practice assistant - no 'ding' sound when I complete a routine

I’m loving the justinguitar website, however, I have an issue with the ding not making a sound after completing a practice item. Anyone have a clue of how to turn it back on?

Hi @Cerse1 - sounds like a bug! Sorry for the trouble. Can you share your device and browser? Also, have you tried clearing your cache?

Hey Fanny, I notice this problem as well when using my iPad mini to use the website practice assisant. Chrome browser for iPad. Cache clearing didn’t help for me.

I guess I just learned to live without it for quite some time, since I still see the screen flash when the time is up.

I confer it has not been working for several months, the ding that is. I am on MacBook Pro running Tahoe 26.1 using Safari 26.1, it also does not work on my old MacBook stuck on Big Sur 11.7.10 Safari 16.6.1. I would say it’s likely a web page coding bug, or could be Safari specific. In both cases at the end of the timer the page flashes and then displays the enter notes or with next lesson or redo buttons, when you select either the ping occurs, so I would say the ping is being delayed by the code activating the next options.
