It Ain’t Me Babe - inspired by The Complete Unknown

Having forgotten the catching melody of this classic, after listening to it during the movie I felt compelled to try to have some fun with it.
Beautiful song. And just fun to play and sing.

Nice cover Mike.
I’d forgotten about this song too till you just brought it to mind. Thanks. I haven’t heard that for a good long time.

It was likely some of the earlier music that I listened to when I was a kid. I got hip to it via ‘The Turtles’. I listened to that record over and over. It had some great music on it. Including this song.

Thanks for sharing.

I used to love the Turtles too. Something about their music is timeless and just makes you feel good.

Thanks for the listen much appreciated!

Great share Mike. Your voice had a very Dylan sound to it. Nice work :smiling_face_with_sunglasses::+1:

Thanks Eddie. I attempted to put a little Dylan spin into the vocal without going so far as to attempt to impersonate him (which wouldn’t have gone well).

Thanks for noticing, maybe I pulled
It off as intended .

No-Joy here. Was there supposed to be a link or something to the offering?

LB

Same here. I don’t see the link.

Where is the song :frowning: ?

My apologies should be back

My apologies. Should be back

Well done. That guitar tone is seriously clear and articulate. Related, how is the movie?

Loved it. Well played @MiJoy

Thank you very much. I use a guitar pick up thru an audio interface for the guitar. But it’s a very low budget pickup. So it’s nice to hear that it did a good job with the guitar!

Movie was good but most songs were truncated a bit which was a let down. Good acting and well done otherwise.

This song was my favorite part. Which is why I attempted it.

Thanks again!

Really appreciate the kind words. It’s said often that a song is fun to play. This one definitely is!

I definitely want to watch the biopic. My teenage son and I went to see Bob in concert 2 years ago on his current tour. That also was a big letdown for me as he played none of his famous 60’s and 70’s songs. Only the newer stuff that I was unfamiliar with. I just don’t understand why you would do that! LOL

Good effort.

Enjoyed the listen and opportunity to hear another Bob Dylan song. Good job!

Thank you. Much appreciated.

Well done Mike, good job! I didn’t know about the film so I will definitely look it up, given I’m a big Dylan fan.

Thank you Willie. I really appreciate the listen and kind words.
