Well, after being postponed twice due to COVID, the concert finally took place last night in Glasgow.
Fantastic. This is the 5th time I’ve seen him and he never fails to please. He had a larger band with him than on previous occasions. 4 backing vocalists (one also played violin), electric guitar, bass guitar, drums and piano/keyboard.
He of course played all his famous hits and tracks from his various albums from over his long career.
The backing vocalists were amazing and added a different vibe to some of the songs although my favourites were probably the ones where he played and sang solo and demonstrated his finger style guitar skills.
What a terrific night!
