Hi Jenn,
Happy NGD :sunglasses:  :sunglasses:
Wow that looks amazing…
I think Bigsby bridges are so beautiful…I have a guitar with a Bigsby bridge, but that guitar is so damaged that it cannot be played or repaired easy … maybe one day I bring it to the doc … it is starting to itch more and more …

I wish you a lot of time together :sunglasses:

Greetings

Nice addition to an already nice collection!
Question:
You mentioned the protective plastic film. Did that film cover the pickups or anything other than the finished wood?
I ask because I recently came across a NOS 2022 guitar that still had the protective plastic on it and the membrane covered the pickups and some other hardware so that to remove the plastic you had to remove the strings and control knobs.

Thank you all. I am very happy with it. Definite eye (and ear) candy :guitar: :black_heart:

There was plastic on the pickups, at the base of the headstock and a couple small areas areas on the back of the body. They were easily removeable without taking the strings off. My Fender strat was another story  that one had film seemingly everywhere and was really hard to remove completely.

Since you mentioned your other guitars, could you compare the size and feel of the neck on the Player Plus with that of the Casino? I have the Fender, but have been considering the Casino. Thanks.

Thank you all! I’m having a lot of fun :black_heart:

Both my Casino and my LP have the same neck profile- they are SlimTaper, which is actually my preferred size/shape. It is skinnier and a bit fuller than either of my Fenders, which are both “C” shaped I believe. For me, the skinny neck is really easy to play. I like the necks on my Fenders as well, but I really love the SlimTaper.

That being said, there were a couple different versions of the Casino out there when I bought mine. I’m not sure they are still around, but there was a version that had a matte finish. The version with the matte finish has a completely different neck profile that I did not like. I think it was a D? Just make sure you know which version you are getting :+1: I love my “John Lennon” Casino

In fairness you could argue that you do ‘need’ one more guitar, an acoustic!

Yep! I finally quit waffling about it and went for it

It sounds really good! I’m very happy with it. I even played it with the neck pickup, which is not a frequent occurrence
