We’re excited to reintroduce the JG Community Map! Big thanks to @brianlarsen for initiating and managing this fun initiative.
This map is a community-led project that uses Google Maps to show where JustinGuitar students are around the world. It’s pretty cool to see we’ve got fellow players everywhere!
Thought the map is not monitored by JustinGuitar, but if you have any privacy concerns, you can email fanny@justinguitar.com.
How to Be Added to the Map
It’s easy! You have two options:
Reply to this thread with your city/region/country: Brian will be notified and add you to the map!
Prefer privacy? Send a direct message to @brianlarsen
Please don’t request access to edit the Google Map directly — all management goes through @brianlarsen through Community request.
Only your JG handle and the location you provide will be shown — no personal info needed. Please give @brianlarsen a bit of time before he adds you!
Cheers for the feedback @stitch and @mfeeney0110
Like anything new, there’ll be teething problems.
I’ll check with the team whether they have a link available for the public to view, (without editing)
The original map website went defunct after a number of months, hence the new initiative
I have no idea how many ‘members’ there are, but probably not more than a couple of hundred ‘active’ here in the community
Well, between Amazon, Elon’s DOGE and the Chinese spy bots I figure pretty much all of my secrets are out there and being monetized, so I’ll join this endeavor.
You were, but that’s lost, and we’re reinventing the wheel
Makes more sense to have it at the top to catch anyone new to the concept.
If you want ready access, you can just bookmark the link in your browser. You don’t even have to go through the site
