Hi Richard,
I would like to be added to the audience guests :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Dominique @domi7
Haven’t you learned from Shane ( this one @sclay ) that this guitar journey means staying away from sharp things like knives and the like, he has clearly stated this several times

So …google time for you

KIDDIKUTTER

Wishing you a quick recovery ,greetings

Heal up quick mate.

And no more playing with knives. Those days are over; you’re a guitarist now…:man_surfing:

Cheers, Shane

Haha, so many nice replies!
@Alexeyd @roger_holland @sclay
Thanks a lot!
When it happened, it looked deeper than the usual cuts I get once in a while and blood streamed quick, but today, it looks already quite a bit better. I’ll just leave it unstressed for the days to come and practice anything without thumb.
Alexey, I thought about a thumb pick, but at least the one I have clamps the thumb quite a bit in that area which I’d like to leave to heal. But in general yes I want to - I bought one and never really used it until now! Such a shame!

Oh no! If the middle finger nail is short now, will you pick with your flesh rather than with nails?
I know a busker who mostly plays a nylon string guitar and he once told me he picks with his flesh instead of nails - I would think that the combination of nylon strings AND flesh should sound dull, but he just sounds great this way too.
I hope you’ll be alright soon!

PS. Another club that shouldn’t be missed!

I always pick with flesh Domi. The nail was already short. I caught it on something and it ripped some of the side part back, way down.

Good to have another ol’ timer on board

@Richard_close2u, can you remove me from the performers list, please? I won’t be able to participate, sadly. On the bright side, that gives me additional time to practice and better prepare for the 35th OM.

That’s so sad to hear @metramaks

Well hopefully you’ll resolve it asap.
