When?
Saturday 01 November 2025 @ 19:00 UTC
IMPORTANT
This event takes place after many time zones move their clocks back one hour. Please check your own local time in relation to 7pm UTC.
NOTE
Please ensure you fully meet the JGC OM Performer Criteria for future Open Mics, as detailed in this Call For Interest (CFI) and in the links below. Performer slots are available according to the following criteria.
We ask that performers be actively engaged members who embody the positive and supportive pay-it-forward ethos we have long nurtured within the Community.
We ask that performers have made an Introductory topic, ideally including some information about their learning path with JustinGuitar.
We ask that performers have shared recent audio-video of their playing in the Community Recordings section.*
We ask that performers have previously attended Open Mics as an audience member or performer.
Performers
There are up to 15 performer slots available with an opportunity to play 1 or 2 songs. Please reply with a tag (using the @ symbol) for Richard_close2u stating your wish to be considered for a slot.
Remember to state your location & UTC time zone - helpful when planning the order for performers.
Performer slots are not allocated on a first-come first-served basis but there is a deadline.
The performer application window closes on or near to Monday 20th October after which a final list of performers will be published and performers will be included in a private messaging to arrange further.

Firstly, thanks for picking up and running with it, Richard.

If I donāt Iāll certainly be in the audience.
UTC+2 and for us it is keep simple, no clocks falling and springing, backwards and forwards.

Anyone who has played an open mic before and wants to play again is (or should be) obviously be eligible.
If someone was seriously taking the mick and only requesting to play open mics but not participating in the Community in general, a quiet DM from the mods would be the way forward, or simply omitting that individual, should the OM is oversubscribed.
