Hi, although I started with Justin Guitar in the summer, I am finally getting around to an introduction…
I took guitar lessons one summer when I was 11-12 with a classmate (Cheryl McDuff). I remember us working on the song ‘Streets of Laredo’. I never kept up with any guitar or other music after that summer.
I picked up the guitar to help my boyfriend, who had started lessons at the local music store. I found I was enjoying it and rented a guitar. Soon I decided to buy a guitar, so being as Canadian as I am, I had to buy one made in Canada. I have a lovely Simon and Patrick Songsmith. Thus far I have resisted the urge to buy another guitar. I am so grateful to pick it up and strum.
I am enjoying Justin’s approach to teaching. I enjoy the Community, even if I don’t post too many topics.
Thanks for sharing this journey.
