Just turned on the dehumidifier for the 1st time this year.
Hahaha! I suppose you have to be an American of a certain age to appreciate that. Or was Captain Kangaroo internationally known???
Anyway, funny post.
Didnât have a scooby, so reaction from Europe was . . . . wot ??
Speaking of wot, wotâs a scooby?
A scooby doo!
Scooby Doo = Clue
Looks like he could play a mean blues tune.
though I think heâd a been more in the line of Piedmont bluesâŚ
It would be nice if Bob Keeshan were better espoused in the US. With Fred Rogers, they were among the last of âslow childrenâs televisionâ in the USofA. I watched him regularly in the 60s as Mom made breakfast. Bunny Rabbit (always stealing the carrots!) , Mr Moose, Mr Greenjeans and Grandfather Clock helped fill the stage. Those were simpler, less frenetic timesâŚ
Alternatively Scooby or Scooby doo = Subaru (as in Impreza).
Sorry, I should have thought that Europeans would have no idea who Captain Kangaroo was!
So, I need some adviceâŚ.
Wouldnât quite work here though Daz.
Gawd bless ya Mary Poppins !!

OK, I accept your decision, it was definitely not such a good idea. Where they came from is a less public environment and is segregated by more sophisticated controls than here. I found them amusing, but obviously others havenât and the community guidelines were broken for which I publicly apologise. I donât want this thread spoilt by my action itâs been a lot of fun and light entertainment.
Oh come on Richard. This is all just a bit of fun.
Edit. Or have I missed something? Has a post been deleted? Captain Kangaroo. Mary Poppins. Sorry, but Iâm lost now.
