Hi. It’s been a while since I have been here. Last year, I wanted to use my tablet to get the app, but at that time it wasn’t supported by it. Has there been any updates on this? Thanks Tim

I’m interested in this one too… I purchased an Amazon Fire Tablet mainly to use with the app & website but was disappointed when the app didn’t work!

I’m not sure … I do recall that for a long time the Amazon Fire tablets could not run the App.

Amazon Fire Tablets run a “forked” version of Android. This proprietary version does not support all Android apps. It seems Amazon did this to push buyers toward their own ecosystem…and it’s not been well-received.
SAN FRANCISCO, Aug 20 (Reuters) - Amazon (AMZN.O) is plotting a big change to its Fire tablet lineup following years of escalating gripes from consumers and app developers over the company’s homegrown operating system.
