Last song of 2025 (Original)

Hi everyone,

The other day my wife showed me this documentary about Paul Anka, who wrote songs for 7 decades for several artists. Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson and Drake. So he talks about how he used a melody of a familiar song to write his own song. I thought I can do that too.

This one is a song I wrote about the day I first met my wife in ocean beach and how we both believed there was more to one another.

Hope you like it . Happy 2026!

Good work dude!

I think youre probably a better singer than you’re giving yourself credit for… dont be afraid to extend some of those notes a little more… i can tell youve got more to give

Otherwise a lovely song! … Love a good strummed ditty!

Hi Ben,

Thanks for your words of encouragement. I really do need a vocal coach to get better. I performed on stage for a while last summer and fall in old town San Diego. I need to improve to get that chance again this year. Really needed that push to do more. Happy 2026. Keep rocking
