Hi , I’ve started learning to use triads , and I’m finding it a revelation for helping automate finding notes across the g,b & e strings , I’ve been learning guitar for a year , and been happy just sort of learning notes as I’ve been going along , rather than just specifically working along strings to learn notes , which i found very tedious , I’m not bad on the e & a strings , through barre chords or power chords ( with the octave on the d string) , that also helps ,basically , personally i find it much more enjoyable learning notes doing something i enjoy

I think it was a guest on ‘That Pedal Show’ recently who suggested trying to figure out a simple melody, but in triads….
