Login Problems

Hello

As an FYI, I am in contact with Musopia on this, but the problem continues.
Are other users having problems, too?

I keep getting logged out of both apps - Music Theory and the Lessons/Songs app and keep needing to create new passwords. Only to get logged out a day later.
For now, the Music Theory app is ok (I did un/reinstall), but I’ve now been logged out of the Lessons/Songs app again.

We recently released a new account system, and there may still be a few minor issues while everything is being stabilized. We’re sorry that you’ve been experiencing problems logging in. To help resolve this, we’ve reset your password.

Please try logging in again using your new password. If the issue continues, we recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as this can sometimes resolve login-related problems.

If you are already in contact with Musopia via the “report a bug”, that’s good because that’s the fastest track to get help (since I/we can’t help you directly).

Could you, four our admin, drop me

  • a brief description of he issue,
  • how did you get in contact with them and did you get something back (automatic reply or mnaual answer)
  • since when it is happening
  • Device(s) you are using
  • the e-mail connected to the account(s) (please check which e-mail you use and if it checks out on both apps)

Thanks, I will check this myself as well so check the incident flow. Musopia and JG are checking on how improve for the users and this is a good real life use case.

Thank you. I think the login problems are now solved. You need to use the same password for both apps - Lessons/Songs and Music Theory if they are under the same account/email. Though, previously, they both opened when I had different passwords.
Musopia may have changed their login/account protocols per their replies below.

Both the Lessons & Songs app and the Music Theory app use the same account system. Because of this, when you reset your password, the new password applies to both apps.
Please try logging in to both apps using the most recently updated password. If the issue continues, or you need to reset it again, just let us know and we’ll be happy to help further.
