Keep going forward, it’s worth the effort to do something like this! Making your own music is in my opinion the best thing to motivate you to carry on learning.

Thanks so much, Darrell. Really appreciate the comment and encouragement. I don’t consider myself to be particularly ‘good’ but can enjoy what I can do and the producing of original songs. I guess if I have ‘a thing’ that would be it. What I can do in terms of lead, finger-picking, basics of theory all come together in these original songs.
