Lots of blues modules in Grade 4 - which order should I work through them?

Really loving moving through these courses and have just started Grade 4. I notice there are 4 different blues modules in Grade 4, is there a suggested order to work through them?

I don’t know if Justin has a recommended sequence for the blues modules in Grade 4, but here are my thoughts.

The different modules have different focus:

Solo Blues Guitar with MatchMySound – this module is for learning to play instrumental acoustic blues pieces, played fingerstyle. If that is your interest, I think you can dive right in (without doing the other modules first).

Blues Guitar Studies – this is a collection of miscellaneous beginner blues lessons, that go a bit beyond the basic shuffle rhythm playing. Actually, one of them, “That 6th Trick” is a fingerstyle acoustic piece that could fit in the “Solo Blues Guitar” module. It’s definitely harder than the other 3 lessons in the module.

Essential Blues Lead Guitar – this module gets you started on playing lead (electric) blues guitar. It goes step-by-step starting with the minor pentatonic scale, has technique videos on bending, vibrato, etc. If you want to start on lead guitar, this is the place. You don’t need the other modules to do this one. In Grade 6 there is a continuation, “Blues All Over”.

Blues Licks – I don’t really consider this a module, as such. It’s more a library of licks that you can reference any time you like. You should definitely do the lead guitar module before tackling these, I should think.
