I had trouble with the Gm6 chord and getting my third finger mini-barre to play the high G, so I did a little cheat to help my little fingers and also used my pinkie to play the high
G. The easiest cheat is to simply start with a big G (320033) and move the first or index finger from the 5th to the 4th string and mute the 5th and 3rd strings (3x2x33). It sounds just as good to my ears and a lot easier to play. UPDATE: after thinking about this, I realized I am only playing the R 5 and 6 of the chord, so it is not a m6. It is better to move the 3rd finger to play the Bb on the 3rd string and barre strings 3 and 2 if you can or just mute the 2nd string to leave out the 5 of the chord: (3x23x3). With a little effort and practice I can also play both the Bb and the D on the 2nd string with my 3rd finger and have the full Gm6 chord: (3x2333).
Why not just barre the e,B,G with the pinky instead of the ring finger.
