This is a great lesson, most of these chords are indeed sound lush and special. I “found” a few more that may also belong to this category. The starting point is the Esus2 chord and strings 1, 2 & 6 are played open in all these new chords:

  • If the grip is moved up 2 frets, we get an E6 chord (046600)
  • If it’s moved one fret higher, we’ll have an Em7sus4 chord (057700)
  • If we move it up another 2 frets, we get an E5 power chord (079900)
