I went to my guitar lesson with my teacher today

We first worked on WT
I have the GP file for the song and I didnt understand one of the bends
In the end I can play the bend however I want it wont change a thing

then we worked on OTB
I showed him the part where I still struggle
I have 3 strings to mute but my palm just mutes 2 and the last one sounds like Pouët / Kwak
the position of the volume knob on a strat does not help when it comes to palm muting
so we worked on different palm / hand position to find a solution ant it looks like I found a solution so I ll work on it this week

the other solution would be to just keep on muting only 2 strings and forget about the last one

then I played him the song at 70% speed
I can do the barre chord slide just fine now

to finish the lesson we talked about the last challenge in BLIM

Homework : I have a new transcribing exercise to work on !

After the lesson I went to the hospital to have my post surgery check up
Walking in this heat was very tiring … I felt like a zombie all day long
But the doc my legs are as new !!! nothing to worry about now

No :joy: …but I’ve chosen a song (maybe) which needs to be posted at the end of summer… and here you have a hint of which song I’m talking about…:italy::trumpet:…two more hints…

See we’re different…I love the heat because it makes me feel it dries my wet aching bones!

That’s great to read about your new pair of legs! :grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

@Silvia80

you ll play the national anthem because you think Italia is gonna win the World cup ?

No…it’s a song about summer! I don’t think Italy will win anyway

Just one cornetto?

Ah ah i love the second commercial
at first I thought he would throw the woman in the pond while being under the bridge XD

The only “ italian “ summer song I have in mind is from Richard Cocciante but he sings it in french
