So… I got me and my granddaughter a uke. She was learning uke at school and played in a concert. She said she would like one. I checked out Justin’s uke advice and songs, bought the recommended and we started to play together just before Xmas. This is us playing 500 Miles. Oh my if you ever get the chance to play music with your grandkids it is wonderful. (Picture blurred for safeguarding reasons!)

Well my Granddaughter has just received a drum kit for Xmas so I think I am in for a noisy few months cheers Hec

Hey @MajorPentatonic, great grandfathers think alike! I got my grandson (only 3 1/2) a ukulele for Christmas because he loves to play my guitar (well, pound on the strings and laugh when he “accidentally” drops a pick in the sound hole so he can watch me shake it out. He tells me he plays it every day, and his little brother likes to play the piano, so one day I’ll be forming a new band. You’ve heard of Mumford & Sons?
