OK here goes. Time to share some AVOYP (my only previous sharing being some holiday uke fun). I’ve found out that using my ear buds as a mike helps to pick up my timid singing a bit better.
First song is one that most know - Man on the Moon by REM:
The second song is a lesser known one - it’s called Lover Lover and from the first solo album of James Iha (guitarist in Smashing Pumpkins).
Well done Colin, big step. Your playing is coming on well. For the singing, I’d just encourage you to be less timid, just let yourself go and sing out a bit. It will be fine.
