What can I say? That was Spot-On man! You’re coaxing a lovely story from the guitar…
I disagree here. To me, the best solos are expressive. They leave space to breathe, they make one feel the music - this solo feels uplifting & soulful! The only thing wrong with it was that it ended too soon!!!

Shane, Your dedication to learning and your progress are impressive, and they manifest themselves in your playing. Also, your work up on the high frets deserves a separate shout out in my opinion. Not the easiest to play up there.

Re the tempo, yes I totally agree. Some of my favourites are slow burners where expression ‘hangs’ in the air.
My reference to ’ not fast enough’ was in terms of my guitar progress never being fast enough, not song tempo.
