Thanks for pointing me in the right direction on this. Must confess I am working through things very slowly making sure I understand what is going on, and not got near OBS yet other than having downloaded it.

Early days with the 2i2 but it looks good. Whole new set of jargon to understand but getting there. Just done a very simple recording in Ableton and OBS so have at least archived something.
Note reading I see as a long term project and will give my classical guitar a bit more use than it has had since I got an acoustic. Will add progress in my learners log. First impression of the book is good seems to take things in nice easy stages.
