Hi everyone,
I’m having issues on the app with the microphone. When I use the tuner or exercises that record you playing (chords etc) my microphone doesnt seem to pick up the 6th or 5th strings? The microphone is definitely on. Im using a pretty old Samsung Galaxy Tab A for the app… Would plugging in an external microphone help? And if so does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks for any help 
its not your microphone … I dont think it is … the exercices never pick up the notes on my app too

I’m glad you’ve mentioned that as I thought it was only me having a problem. I’m having the problem with any task involving the microphone (using an iPad) but I’ve tested the mic and it’s working perfectly, so it must be an app issue.
A shame really as it was working the first few times I used the it and I thought it was a great benefit of the app.
Hi, are you using an electrical guitar? I have had similar issues with the tuner and the chord exercises. Turning up the volume on the amplifier did resolve it for me. I’m using the app on a Xiaomi android phone. Another option might be if your phone has some software to amplify incoming sounds to solve it that way
