Microsoft copilot (ChatGTP) recommends Justin's note trainer

I asked copilot to show me the notes in the first five frets and this was it’s response.

Sure, I can show you the notes in the first five frets of a guitar. Here is a diagram that I created using the web search results¹²³:

|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| E | F | F#| G | G#| A |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| B | C | C#| D | D#| E |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| G | G#| A | A#| B | C |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| D | D#| E | F | F#| G |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | A#| B | C | C#| D |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| E | F | F#| G | G#| A |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|

The notes on the guitar are based on the Note Circle, which is a sequence of 12 notes that repeat in octaves. The notes are E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A#, B, C, C#, D, and D#. Each fret on the guitar moves one-half step up the musical scale, so the note on the first fret of the low E string is F, the note on the second fret is F#, and so on. The same logic applies to the other strings as well.

I hope this helps you learn the notes on the guitar fretboard. If you want to practice your note recognition, you can try the JustinGuitar Note Trainer App¹, which is a fun game that tests your knowledge of the notes. Have fun playing guitar!

Apparently the guys in Justin’s team are doing a good job with search engine optimization :slightly_smiling_face:

Would be nice if the app would be working on modern phones though. I currently unfortunately have to rely on an alternative.

Yes, I did think some of the references were a bit odd.
