This is Queens of a Stone Age song Long Slow Goodbye acoustic version. I am still not getting my audio right. I need to get better with that.

Hey Jason…well done! That was really a great attemp to keep your hand moving and keep time…you seem to lose control only a few times, which to me means a great effort in such a very long song…I struggle with strumming consistency in long songs, but less and less as I’m keeping going :flexed_biceps::flexed_biceps:

I’m afraid I can’t give you any advice with audio, apart from saying that the backing track volume was a bit too low.

Thanks for sharing it… Keep going…we’re gonna rock in 2026 :love_you_gesture::flexed_biceps::smiling_face_with_sunglasses::grinning_face_with_big_eyes:

Well done keeping a steady rhythm Jason. As Silvia pointed out, the backing track is quite low.
Now that you have this recording, you could edit the video and adding the backing track on top again with a higher volume.

In general, it’s best to record the channels separately. In your case (guitar + backing track) the easiest thing would be to plug in the guitar and record that via an audio interface into your computer, whilst the backing track is playing. Then you can mix the guitar recording with the backing track. That would allow you to adjust the volume of both. I hope that makes sense.

That was nice Jason, shame about the backing track but you’ll get there!

That was a nice cover Jason. Just as Silvia said, the backing track volume could be a bit higher.

Oh thanks for watching and commenting everyone. You guys made my morning. I know it probobly got a bit monotonous and boring with the vocals and accompaniment volume so low. I am trying to get that sorted out. I usually just sing. But I am having a problem right now physically so I can not sing. I had to take a few takes because I begin to vocalize and it really messed everything up.

So… maybe next week. When this is all resolved :crossed_fingers:t2: I will do vocals over this. Or just redo it. It’s such a great song too. I get it’s a long time of just strumming. It changes up a lot toward the middle and end at least.

Thank you so much for watching and commenting. It really means a ton to me. I dont post many videos, I have a lot of self doubts, and not having anyone comment for a day and seeing it watched over 40 times is rough. But I feel a lot better this morning and a good pep talk from @Boris1565 yesterday also is why I didnt take it down.

Thanks you again and will work on my sound issues.
