Greetings, Really digging learning early Beatles hits. I hope you enjoy my cover of Love Me Do as taught by Justin. I threw in some C harp like the record, but that’s still kind of a work in progress. Don’t listen too close to that…
Benji
Even on closer listening that’s a really good effort: voice, guitar and harmonica! Very enjoyable.
Brian
I was 14 when this was released so heard it a lot in the following years. Still great to hear it again now and again so thanks for that Benji. You’ve done a great job with it. Harmonica, guitar and vocal.
Thanks for sharing Benji.
That was fun. You did a great job covering that one.
While I love the Beatles, I find the old songs hard for me to do. So feel ya did a hard one and a good job at a hard one too. Great that you’re putting in the harp on that one. Very nice touch.
Oh, I really dig your electric guitar too Benji. Stunning!
Enjoyed the listen. I always like the extra addition of the harmonica. Good job, Benjy!
Nice. Love it
Thanks for giving it a listen Brian!
Thanks Willsie, glad it brought back some good memories!..
Thanks HappyCat! This is a pretty simple one really, just three easy chords I believe. That’s funny you like my guitar. I just bought it because I really needed an electric guitar, but I really have buyer’s remorse. It’s more of a toy than a guitar. I hear Taeko makes good guitars, this is not one of them. Too twangy for me, but I guess it works for Beatles’ covers. Should of saved up for a Squier Stratocaster. Anyway, thanks for the listen!..
Thanks pkboo!
Thanks Floyd!
Pretty decent cover, nice steady playing, Harp sounds fine, singing OK what’s not to like?
Very nice job. I like it played with the G/C and D chords best, and your harmonica did add a lot of the performance. Well done!
Thanks for the listen Darrel!..
Thanks for the listen Tosh!..
Late to party, but so great and fun!!! Listen to it again my friends!!!
Great job, Benji! Sounds amazing and the harp makes it interesting and fun.
Thanks Rmking! It’s a really fun one. Working on some more Beatles now, hopefully will wrap them up soon.
Thanks Oleg! Yeah, I really tried to emulate the harp in the original recording. Glad you enjoyed!
Great cover, Browan377. Good timing, rhythm and harmonica. Not an easy feat to do playing the guitar, harmonica and singing in the same song. Keep up the great work!
