Hi Hec,

You’re spot on ! Mic My friend talked to me yesterday about being his permanent opening act for the summer. He wants me to increase to 7 songs this week and work up to 10 per show. Very excited.

Thanks very much. Pending the venue management I may have a regular Thursday afternoon slot for the summer. It’s very exciting and reminds me of why I learned to play in the first place.

While on holiday in Catalina island last week I gave this song a go. My friend says it sounded decent, but the crowd would prefer it sounding like the original. I’m curious what you all think. It’s a fun song that most everyone would know for an on stage performance.

Your strumming was very consistent with an even tempo throughout. Your voice was a litt5le low in the mix, but that may be the price of recording outdoors. I think I heard some waves in the background.

A very good performance. Possible tweaks for improvement: test if there are any other strumming patterns that would fit the song and add to the dynamic variation.

Great job Jeff! I’m impressed you were able to jump in at a moments notice. Having just performed at my first open mic a month ago, I know how the nerves can set in. It’s cool you are getting a recurring spot!

I’ve heard your playing Michal and it is fantastic. I performed at an open mic for the first time a month ago. If I can do it, you certainly can do it.

Thanks Jeff. The guy who I perform with does that song just like you recommended and said basically the same thing. I removed that one as a song to perform for now. I was just looking for feedback so thanks for sharing your thoughts.
