@Socio@Eddie_09 James, Eddie I so appreciate your acknowledgments! I feel my progress and knowing that other people can see it too gives me more and more confidence to trust in myself and keep going, no matter the struggles…because I know you know: there are struggles too!
Sometimes I think I’m already happy with myself when I make it to avoid to put myself unuseful limits.
David, if someone told me I would be able to do it when I first started I would have told this person he/she was a fool! Thank you for your constant support! You mean really a lot to all of us!
Thank you Leo! I’ve already set my mind on my next chord melody project
More chord melody goodness from our Community classical girl. That was lovely Sylvia, you’re carving a real niche for yourself with this style and the steady development is certainly there for all to see. Well done.
By the way, did you know that when they finally discovered the wreck of the Titanic a hundred years after it sank, the swimming pool was still full of water!
Silvia, well played and a nice arrangement. I never would have considered making a chord melody arrangement of that song. Your musicianship grows with every performance.
Btw…ehm…no one noticed my “poetic licence”?
Celine in the chorus sings…I believe that the heart does go on … here I go like I believe that the heart does, THE HEART DOES…go on…
…I just wanted to make sure it is very clear for anyone that it is the we’re talking about…eh
Mike, this one made an exception, it was a bit of work, a tiny bit of frustration and a large amount of joy and great wonder at things eventually coming easier. I can still name the big frustrations of the past years though. Things do come easier at a certain point, I’m happy I persevered through struggles and found my way to make them easier for myself.
Hi Ashu and thank you for listening and such a nice comment! This is not a “song of my heart”, I haven’t revisited it and if you asked me to play it now I wouldn’t be able to…I remembered I made this arrangement last summer right after some in my brain on how I could arrange a chord/melody easily and intuitevely, the musicsheet of this song happened to be in my hands and while I was looking at it I thought “Oh, I bet I can do this one!”
After that I arranged Can’t help falling in love with you and that one I revisited just two weeks ago, improved it a little bit and I can play it very confidently!
Then I bumped into a song with 16th notes and my creativity went out the window but I’m back at arranging and love it!
So beautifully done! Absolutely loved the arrangement, the fact that you arranged this yourself is stunning! I’m learning a version of this song too, and you’ve given me some ideas!! Bravo and hope to see more
