my ipad doesnt hear every chord so my chord practice on the app doesnt get correct count what to do?

I count the changes myself and then manually enter the number.

I have the same problem and I follow the same as Moose.
I have to count my own as well & I’m playing plenty loud!

Welcome to the Justin Guitar Community. This is a great place to come for answers to all kinds of questions. I have found the Community to be a great resource for learning as well as cyber-socialising a bit. . . so you’ve come to the right place.
As the others have said on this thread, it’s a really great habit to get into counting OUT LOUD the beats for your chord changes. Not clear WHY it works so well but it certainly does. So give it a try by starting slowly and counting out a simple four beats to the bar chord change, i.e. the 1-2-3-4 of each bar or measure. That way, you take the ipad out of the equation a bit, something you’ll need to do as you progress in your playing anyway.
