That’s awesome, that mellow bluesy jazzy sound is exactly the sound I love. I’m getting close to that with my new Eastman. Based on the switch position was that the neck pickup? Which pickup model is it?

Yes. Neck pickup. I believe it’s Seth Lovers.

Happy new gear day Alexey! You do look like you’re happy with it!
Sounds amazing! Sweet and mellow :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It’s the T486 which is an es335 clone. It’s got seymour duncan neck jazz pickup and a 59 for the bridge pickup. I’m loving it. I’ve not played much electric before as I never cared for the sound whereas this T486 has the mellow bluesy / jazzy sound I was looking for. Going for a guitar lesson tomorrow where I’ll get the tutor to cover how I should be setting up my amp, currently that’s a Yamaha thr10c

That is a great amp, you can get really nice tones out of it. It is not so user friendly as other modellers in this group (Spark, Katana), but you will learn a lot because of it.

This is very good place to start; this guy created excel file with many presets and their settings. You should be able to find here tones you are looking for.

Sounding fantastic as always Alexey! Now I expect the gain to gradually crank up throughout the year and by the end you’ll be chugging out the death metal

Great sound Alexey, nice one.

There’s no gain knob in this amp. I do have Peavey Classic 30 though…
