Mysterious fret buzz on the D string

That was an interesting video, thanks for sharing.

So Iā€™ve made about a half turn on the truss rod over the past 2 days and there is some improvement, the buzz is fainter.

Now Iā€™m starting to question my picking technique and/or sanity. :smiley: Maybe the buzz wasnā€™t as serious as it seemedā€¦ Anyway, the string change was worth it as they sound fresh again.

Iā€™ll keep a look out on the buzz in case anything happens but will try not to worry too much.

Good to hear there is some improvement mate. Re my buzzing problem - picked it up from the luthier today after dropping it in yesterday. Not only sorted the buzz out, but the setup he did on it has massively improved the sound and playability. I thought it sounded and played pretty good before, but wow very impressed. All for $70AUS.
