I bought this Stratocaster from 1993 in Rothoff, a historical music shop of Hamburg! The serial didn’t show up on Fender and I don’t know what “subtype” of Strat this is

I bought it ‘cause it felt
amazing in my hands, and the sound is magical. But I paid a high price, so I wanted to know more
Backstory: my first ever guitar was a black Squier Strat, back in 2009
Hence, this color holds a sentimental value to me! I played one year, then I stopped for financial reasons. I resumed last year thanks to Justin!

Wow, I am really interested in helping you, Fabrizio. I need to look at the picture and the back of the guitar, where the neck joins the body, cheers HEC
Here it is!
According to the internet, the serial says that it was made in 1993, not 1994.
That could be right hold on it sure looks legit to me mind but lets see
this is mine its a 1989 cheers Hec

Hold on to her, my friend, don’t ever part with her, lovely to see, man, well done, Fabrizio and thanks for sharing, cheers HEC
Thanks HEC, I suppose it is legit then
For sure the two of them are not going anywhere

I think so, Fabrizio, if I put my serial number into Fender lookup, it doesn’t always find it, it is a deep subject one to be careful with, I once, not so long ago, purchased a Fender on eBay, I paid £240.00 for it, and I knew it was genuine the payment was made but then I received a message from the seller saying he didnt realise it was real so I accepted a refund and let him keep it, like yours it was black and gorgeous cheers Hec
