wow, it‘s almost Xmas and after having a Gretsch and a Fender Strat, I finally decided to get me my first Epi Les Paul (on ebay). Seller said it is a Tribute Plus 1960 model. (Have never heard about it before)
Got it for a reasonable price, but I didn‘t find the exact color my model has.
Looks like some kind of black/midnight ebony burst.
Seems to be made in 2011, according to the serial number (F306003).
Maybe you guys know more about it.
I‘m gonna give it to a luthier soon to check it and see if everything is alright with that lovely babe. It‘s supposed to have real Gibson 57 pickups & Grover locking tuners.
Glad I finally got an Epiphone and… who knows some day it might be a Gibson…. who knows.
So far, I am really happy with that beauty. Sounds and plays real nice.
And I‘m glad I am part of this forum to get in touch with a lot of other guitar players.
