NGD again

My wife found me another guitar, second hand but good condition, and relatively cheap. Never heard of a Stretton Payne before, but this is an RS. After a clean up as the fret board was a little dry, and a bit of adjustment on the action as the strings buzzed a bit, turns out its a pretty good guitar. As far as i can find out they were a small guitar maker that is now defunct. The finish also fits in with my other guitars (flame top i believe). Very pleased

The head stock shape and the bird inlays suggest they copied PRS. Nice looking guitar.

Don’t we all need wives like that. Looks a goodun and yes very PRSish, so what’s not too like. Happy NGD.

Looks nice, I can wonder if they were put out of business by PRS for making a blatant copy :man_shrugging:
Bridge doesn’t look the same but the rest does - to me it doesn’t matter what it says on the headstock is it plays well and sounds decent! Nice find, oh and the guitar
