Thanks again for all the helpful suggestions here. I checked out as many of the guitars as I could get my hands on, watched lots of YT reviews etc. and fell in love with the sound, feel and looks of this flamed maple ‘Raspberry Tea’ model… my daughter insists I call it Chuck, since well, Chuck Berry and it arrived in time for Johnny B Goode in BLIM Unit 2.

That’s a stunning looking guitar. I love that color. I’m kinda down with sunburst. I’m kinda prejuduce though, my Casino is sunburst.
I’ve got two Epiphones (out of 5) and love them both. They play good, they sound good, they look good. Don’t know what else there is. I’d get another one too. They seem to be a great bang for the buck imho.

That’s a beauty. I’m jealous. If I could justify buying another guitar, it would be a 335 or 339 type.
Chuck played an ES-350T, a single cut, but since that model is no longer available except as a custom-shop order, a 335 is certainly a fine analog!
