Trolling my normal second hand market place I saw this one. Pretty much near new condition. 6months old, owned by a 71yo guy who bought it to see if he liked electric and decided to go back to acoustic. He was asking for about 2/3 of the price I could find anywhere for brand new.
I really had no choice but to buy it. So I did.
My first American made Strat. I have another Strat, it’s a squire (40th anniversary and lovely) SSS config so I have justified this to the wife as something completely different.
Sometimes it may take a while to get the significant other to understand that all guitars are different in meaningful ways. But it is worth the effort!
