I bought a Taylor 314ce two years ago. I love it! It plays beautifully and sounds fantastic. I started playing open mics last year and came across a small problem. While the Taylor sounds great, at the age of 66 my fingers are stiffer, and bar chords were becoming difficult to sound as good as they should. A friend lent me a Strat and I was hooked. In January I bought a new Strat Player Plus and havenāt looked back. Obviously itās a completely different guitar. However itās much easier to play. Itās also changed the type of songs I play from typical acoustic tracks to more rock numbers. In summary both guitars are fabulous. Iām lucky to have both.

Hey everyone, I wanted to let you know I finally took a decision.
And it wasnā t one of the above mentioned guitars.
I played them all (the different Taylors, the Gibsonā¦) and then fell in love with a Martin 000-12e. And I havenāt regretted my decision so far.
Got it since March and play it all day long. Just love the tone and the look - literally everything about it.
Cheers Michael
