I’ll be looking for something new myself soon and Gretsch are on my list, their mid-range guitars get some great reviews.
One concern I have though are the Bigsby vibrato/tremeloes, do you have any tuning issues with them?
oh very nice similarly on the lookout for something new and maybe a semi hollow. Was quite taken with the PRS Hollowbody but also hanker after something slightly different so the Gretsch was on my list as well. This is the Electromatic one which is sort of mid range that I was thinking about. Will have to find somewhere to try them out I think. I really do like the finishes on the PRS and Gretsch…they seem significantly higher quality on the mid range guitars compared to the Fender/Ephiphone models (although the Epi 335 is also something I wanted to try).

Hi Paul. I’d heard about the tuning issues that may come with the guitar but so far so good. Of course it’s only early days and it’s been pretty warm here with very little fluctuation in temperature.
